More About Savanah

Savanah is a 500 Hour Registered Yoga Teacher and a certified herbalist with specialty training in prenatal & postnatal yoga, yoga for fertility support, and yoga for menstruating bodies. She advocates for people born with uteruses and is passionate about supporting people through personal situations often experienced as shameful or taboo.

She originally went to school for Music and Secondary English Education but ultimately didn’t feel aligned with her path. She found yoga after dropping out of college at a time when she had little direction, and she knew that she was being called to teach in a different way. She received her 200 Hour YT certification in 2018 and became a proud Indra alumni in 2022.

She owns Pachamama Yoga Shala, in Kentucky, where she and several others provide healing, education, and guidance to the community around everything related to the Womb, from the beginning of menstruation to menopause and beyond. She deeply believes that true healing for all lies in pulling back from the glorified masculine energy of action and production and reestablishing a connection with the feminine energy of restoration and being. This realization began with her miscarriage, which put her on a path of self-discovery and helped her find purpose and passion in sharing this work with the world.

Savanah is a proud mama to two little ones, Aurora and Leo, who inspire her daily. She hopes to move through the world with the same childlike wonder and heart-filled love that they show her, inspiring others to do the same.
